Master Information

Overview of the Master Information Module:

The Master Information Module acts as a central repository of master data captured by the organisation. Typically, three sets of master data are maintained; Employee data, Supplier data and Customer data. The Module administrator can set the module defaults according to the needs of the organisation and the authorised users have the functionality to capture the relevant Masterfile details into the system.

 
The high-level process flow of the Master Information Module is as follows:

  1. The module administrator defines the module setup and required user access;

  2. Users with the correct level of user access will be able to add new Master Files;

  3. Users with the correct level of user access will be able to edit Master Files;

  4. Users with the correct level of user access will be able to deactivate Master Files;

  5. Users with the correct level of user access will be able to View the content included in the Master Files.

Master Information Module Key features include:

  • The availability of Masterfile databases;

  • High level of organisational customisation is possible in defining the module setup to meet the organisation’s own business requirements;

  • Easy, user friendly update process;

  • Functionality for the module administrator to define and manage the create, edit, delete and / or view user access for all the active module users as required by the organisation;

  • Functionality where users can gain access to the module through various means (e.g. desktop, laptop, tablet, smart phone etc.);
