A well-designed process or sub-process creates a clear step-by-step, end-to-end view of what needs to be done and why, reduces operational inefficiencies, establishes accountability and assists with a smooth transition when there is staff turnaround. A process design assessment identifies factors in a process’ design that could affect efficiency and governance quality in the process and recommends how to address the gaps and inefficiencies.
